Overview
Cyanazine, a cancer-causing chemical related to the herbicide atrazine, has been phased out of use in the U.S. since 1995. Cyanazine has been also linked to birth defects and damage to the central nervous system.

EWG Health Guideline: 1 ppb
The EWG Health Guideline of 1 ppb for cyanazine was defined by the Environmental Protection Agency as a lifetime health-based limit for effects other than cancer. This health guideline protects against non-cancer toxicity.
